CAN SOMEONE ELSE DRIVE THE RENTAL CAR?

The rented car is insured only for the person who has made the reservation. The charge for the use of the car by additional drivers is 5€ per day.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO RENT A CAR?

You must be at least 21 years old to rent in Greece and have held your driving license for at least one year. For some categories of cars you must be at least 25 years old.

WHAT SHOULD I HAVE WITH ME WHEN I RECEIVE THE CAR?

You must have your driving licence with you at the start of the rental. You must have it issued at least one year before the rental date. You must also have your identity card or passport with you. All of the above must show the driver's name.

CAN I CROSS THE BORDERS OF GREECE WITH MY RENTAL CAR?

Moving a rental car outside the border is not allowed.

HOW DOES THE FUEL CHARGE WORK?

The customer must return the car with the same amount of fuel as the one he received.

If the car is returned with less fuel, the charge is 10€, plus the cost of the fuel consumed.

CAN I BUY ADDITIONAL COVERAGE TO REDUCE THE LIABILITY AMOUNT?

Each car for rent includes third party liability insurance with liability amount of 1000 € - 5000 € depending on the category of the vehicle.

In case the customer wishes to reduce the liability amount, he can purchase full coverage with extra charge and reduce the liability amount to 400€.

CAN I RENT A CAR FOR A LONGER PERIOD OF TIME?

CAN I PAY WITH DEBIT CARD ?

A credit or debit debit card is always required for car rental as a guarantee, even if you choose to pay the rental in cash. For some car categories a credit card is required.

DO I HAVE TO WASH THE CAR WHEN I DELIVER IT?

No! You are not obliged to wash the car. The charge for washing the car is included in our prices. Only in extreme cases where the interior of the car is not treated properly (e.g. coffee, mud, sand, etc.) will you be required to wash the car to avoid any dry cleaning charges.

WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE AIRPORT, HOW DO I PICK UP THE CAR?

A prerequisite for picking you up from Eleftherios Venizelos airport is that you have given us your flight number, where we will track your flight.

After collecting your luggage you will exit to the arrivals area outside the Sofitel Hotel where a member of our team will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it.

For your pick up from the port of Rafina or Piraeus, it is necessary to give us the name of the ship you will be travelling on so that a member of our team will be waiting for you at the appropriate gate holding a sign with your name.
